Kevin Hurley died in a single car accident on Febuary 23, 2001. He was only 22 years old when he died, he had just graduated from Georgetown University the previous spring and was working at KPMG at the time of his death. He had just passed his CPA exam on the first try in October.
Although Kevin's life was cut short he led a rather eventful life. In his 22 years he lived in Chile, Paraguay, France, Spain, Austria, and the United States. And after his 21st birthday he jumped out of an airplane. Early Friday morning on Febuary 23, 2001 Kevin's car skidded. His car crossed the median and hit a lamp post near the 14th street bridge in D.C. Kevin died on impact. In the week following Kevin's death his family and friends obeyed his wishes by finding comfort in the telling of the many humorous stories we all have to remember him by.
